Not to be negative, but I’m really starting to get tired of looking at these characters stupid faces and dealing with their problems! 😉 These face designs are not “normal” so trying to create expressions has been quite annoying.
I find it really difficult and tedious updating this journal because even though I may spend countless hours tweaking this or nudging that, it’s nearly impossible for anyone to see how much work I’ve actually done. Suffice to say, I think I’m done modeling and rigging the two main characters (although, one is never TRULY done).
As has been detailed previously, ALL of my characters for this animation project were based on the same head mesh, which resulted in four characters looking rather familiar to each other. Not much variation was applied. In some cases, when designing characters, I think it’s okay to have resemblances. Afterall, every human shares the same facial structure.
