I find it really difficult and tedious updating this journal because even though I may spend countless hours tweaking this or nudging that, it’s nearly impossible for anyone to see how much work I’ve actually done. Suffice to say, I think I’m done modeling and rigging the two main characters (although, one is never TRULY done).

Santa brought me a set of special lenses for my iPhone over the holidays last year. The set comes with a fish-eye, a wide angle and a macro lens. Each is awesome in it’s own way, but the macro lens is my favorite so far.
The Gentleman has been a royal pain in the ass, to be honest with you. I had some good concept drawings, but the sculpted versions, while interesting, were constantly deviating from my planned design – mostly to avoid replicating Bob “Mr. Incredible” Parr.
So it’s basketball season!! Daylight Savings and March Madness are in full swing, which means there’s less time to do all the great things I had planned on doing, and more time for basketball! So instead of a really awesome post, here are some scenes from my sketchbooks.

This concept hit me late in the month and I think it’s quite unconventional. Potentially offensive. But I was raised in the Catholic Church so I feel perfectly justified in passing my general disappointments, misery and offensiveness on to you. 🙂
