I really didn’t want my precious “catheads.net” site turning into THE HOME of my recent animation project, “Wooden”, so I started a production journal elsewhere. 🙂 🙁
My plan was to be fairly faithful to that site, posting updates and stuff I’m working on for the project.
I’d been a little hesitant to update it regularly because I kept thinking no one would care. That’s part of my overall problem. However, it’s important to remember that the site is a journal / diary for the production.
But because wordpress.com is a free thing, and because you get what you pay for, I have been experiencing this error message more than I care to:
Something has gone wrong with our servers. It’s probably Matt’s fault. We’ve just been notified of the problem. Hopefully this should be fixed ASAP, so kindly reload in a minute and things should be back to normal.”
In my experience, what “normal” refers to is needing about 30 minutes to create even the simplest of posts on wordpress.com. I pay for catheads.net, using wordpress.org, blogging system and I can tell you it’s worth every penny to have independent hosting.
Anyway, the blog is here: Wooden Production Journal. Enjoy it while it lasts. 😉
