Digital Painting Project

I am so used to sitting down with a paper and pencil and drawing until something feels good enough to scan into digital format and paint. This time, using my Wacom tablet, I started sketching right in Photoshop.

I had E.T. on my mind for strange reasons..

More doodling rendered something interesting

This Old Woman suddenly was taking me back to my days at St. Catherine’s Military School. I was only there till the 2nd grade – you can make of that what you want.

I could literally see her standing outside the catholic church near the perfectly groomed bushes.

This is a work in progress. The fingers are driving me crazy. I’ll update this one soon.
