Desperate to publish a post on something that isn’t about Christmas, rabbits or my new haircut, I sat down to think of all the other projects I’m working on so I could report here and get you excited! Well, get prepared to be disappointed, everyone. 
I’m not going to bore you with all my recent headaches of “things not working” and “don’t touch those” and “stop messing with that”. Suffice to say, I am trying to create content here. I am trying very hard to put it together so the world will be a better place.
And there are forces conspiring, I’m afraid.
So where do we end up? Back in the North Pole.
I realized, with all the modeling I’ve been doing for my CG cartoon, that I had never put two characters in the same frame together for a snapshot.
So this simple scene and these poses came to mind, not sure why. But that elf was doing something he should not have been doing. Probably messin’ around in the hen house again or eatin’ too many gobstoppers or something. Probably killed someone with an axe. 
Good for him, I say! We all need to have a little fun once in a while!
So in terms of a Christmas Spectacular update, yeah.. it’s coming together and I’m trying not to make a mess of it, which will be very difficult. I am sticking armatures in all the critters the old fashioned way, since Blender 2.53 will not work on my computer (Microsoft Visual C++ error report appears and the whole thing crashes), and I will be recording voices in August, we hope. 
And as a side note, I will post, in a few weeks, the creature I’ve been modeling, thanks to our friends at BlenderCookie.com.
